Co-operation between AS Würth and Jalax AS began in 2001. Würth AS supply Jalax AS with fixing materials, chemicals, personal protection equipment as well as cutting and dressing accessories. Our co-operation has been gratifying and in comparison to 2001, it can now be said that the volume of supplies to Jalax AS has increased more than five times. Attractively practical shelves.Like many companies faced with the need to order shelves, a practical need led us to Jalax. Shelves designed by Jalax harmonize with the entire interior design at Nurmenuku, which is the newest branch of the Tallinn Central Library. Nurmenuku library has 12 double-sided metal shelves for adult reading material. The colour tones used are black and grey; overall, black is slightly more dominent. The Jalax shelves can be easily cleaned: with their metal section supports they are book- and librarian-friendly. Sides of the shelves are lined with a pleasantly soft material that is most appealing to children, who pet them as they would a favourite pet. Deserving of special mention are the slanted shelves, which we use for holding book exhibitions. If necessary, we can place an open book on the shelf without fear that it will fall off.
The Nurmenuku library’s whole interior is spacious and full of light. That is why the shelves have been installed with larger spaces so that people could browse more freely. There is even room for readers in wheelchairs.
Many library patrons, especially people who are engaged in interior design or looking for office furniture, have inquired about the maker of these shelves, as they speak for themselves! I would confidently recommend them to anyone who is in the market for furniture.

Kiigemetsa School has been using Jalax school furniture for 10 years, and so far there has not been a single complaint about the durability of the furniture. Jõgeva Upper Secondary School has been a Jalax customer for a number of years now.We are loyal to Jalax for several reasons: the products are acceptably priced for us, the communication with the manufacturer has been friendly and to the point. The company has always considered our wishes with regard to product development so that the furniture would conform to the requirements dictated by specific conditions in the classroom.
No less important is the fact that we both hew to a "green" philosophy – this means that we often do not order new full sets of furniture, but rather Jalax supplies the necessary parts for renovations. Thus we save significantly on the amount of metal consumed.
